Home Theater Upgrade for Super Bowl February 2026
This client had a basement home theater with great potential, just dated technology (10+yrs). We replaced her projector with the JVC DLA-RS2200! A real poppin' picture! The new surround sound AV receiver is a Marantz Cinema60 which gave the client 10watts per channel more than they had previously, and it was notably improved quality. We integrated her Nintendo Wii, a new Sony UHD Bluray player, 4k Apple TV, and controlled it all with URC Total Control. The remote is a the URC model TRC 1120 WiFi Voice Control Remote!
Theater Upgrade
This client had a basement home theater from the 90's and was due for an upgrade. Previously, her system had the old square 4:3 ratio screen and a giant tank of a projector hanging from the ceiling. We delivered and assembled one 120" 16:9 widescreen fixed frame screen with edgeless design for full edge to edge picture. For the projector we used the LG HU810 as it was cost effective for the client and had great picture and smart features built in. We ran a new Vanco 4k HDMI cable to a new Yamaha RXA4A A/V receiver and calibrated it to her room! Even in a well lit environment, this projector had exceptional picture quality!

Basement Theater with TV
This client hired The Basement FInishers LLC to complete a finished basement project and we do all of their home theaters and smart homes! During the framing stage of their construction, we had an onsite consultation with the client to discuss TV's, speakers, and where they wanted them. After deciding on the best layout, we ran appropriate wiring to the chosen locations. Once the basement was nearing completion we delivered a 65" LG OLED TV with tilting mount, 3 in wall speakers, 2 in ceiling, and 1 floor standing subwoofer, speakers by Jamo, powered by Yamaha RXA4A A/V receiver.
Basement Projection Theater

This is another project with The Basement Finishers LLC. This client opted for the Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 in wall and in ceiling system from Definitive Technology, with in wall subwoofer IW1010 from Definitive Technology, powered by Denon AVRS960H A/V Receiver, with 100" edgeless fixed frame perforated screen, with concealed center channel behind screen, with Govee LED WiFi controlled backlight, with remote equipment in their mechanical room, controlled with Logitech Harmony Elite and Hub Smart Remote.
